Sophie's new series is inspired by views of the different scenery captured during her travel in the NSW countryside. Trees from the Razorback Mountains, seascapes with glimpses of land in the distance and incandescent, cloud filled skies.

The new landscapes are executed following the principle of glazing, so the result is subtle and soft, conveying a very atmospheric and sometimes romantic interpretation of nature.
